At Suck It Up! we begin with a pre-wash that removes any loose dirt and debris – and believe us, floor rugs harbour a lot more than you might think! At this point, we also assess rugs for their material type, colourfastness, and take note of any stains or odours that need special attention. It’s then into a cleaning solution to soak, before they are transferred to our rotary shampoo machine. This specialised piece of equipment has been designed specifically for this purpose, and it is where the magic happens. Once rugs are thoroughly clean and all dirt has been lifted from the fibres, they are rinsed, and excess water is removed – and then it’s into the drying room. This room is temperature-controlled for optimum drying, ensuring rugs are completely moisture-free before they are returned. This helps to prevent mildew, mould and associated odours from forming as a result of ongoing dampness.

Rugs are then returned to your door!
